Physician-led platelet-rich plasma treatment to support suitable patterns of hair thinning.
PRP does not address every cause of hair loss. Some people see no meaningful improvement despite completing a course.
A consultation does not guarantee that treatment will be offered and does not oblige you to proceed. Your practitioner will discuss suitable options, alternatives, material risks, limitations, recovery, price and consent before treatment.

No. Suitability depends on the cause and pattern. Sudden, patchy or unexplained hair loss may need investigation or referral before aesthetic treatment is considered.
Protocols commonly involve a course, but the appropriate number and value of continuing depend on your assessment and response. No course can guarantee regrowth.
PRP scalp injections are assessed and performed by Dr Varma.
About the treatment
PRP for hair uses platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood and injected into selected areas of the scalp. Dr Varma will review your history and pattern of hair loss to decide whether PRP could play a useful role. Because hair thinning has many possible causes, he may recommend further investigation or another form of care first.
Your appointment
Discuss your hair concerns, medical history and the pattern of thinning
Have a small blood sample taken and prepared to separate the platelet-rich plasma
Receive a series of small scalp injections if PRP is suitable for you
Leave with aftercare guidance and a clear plan for review or further sessions

Scalp tenderness, redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding or headache can occur. Most people return to routine activities promptly, but individual recovery varies.
