Vaginismus can involve involuntary tightening of the pelvic-floor muscles that makes penetration painful or difficult. For suitable patients, prescription medicine can be injected into selected muscles to reduce that tightening for a period of time. Dr Varma will listen to your experience, explain where this treatment may fit within wider care and discuss other helpful support or referrals.
