Dr Varma is a family physician and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner with clinical experience in London, Oxford and Edmonton. He studied biochemistry at Imperial College London before completing his medical degree in the Czech Republic and postgraduate medical training in the United Kingdom.

His background includes women’s health, reproductive and sexual health, anatomy teaching, menopause care and aesthetic medicine. His approach is centered on thoughtful consultation, careful planning and results that respect each person’s natural features.

Before moving to Canada, Dr Varma founded and ran a wellness and preventive-health clinic in Mayfair, London. Alongside London & Glow, he provides medical menopause assessment and HRT through Capilano Medical Centre & Walk-in.

Hemel trained at King’s College London and practised in private cosmetic dentistry in London, where his work developed a strong focus on facial balance, natural-looking results and a calm patient experience.

He later trained in facial aesthetics on Harley Street, providing anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers and medical-grade skincare in the UK, as well as helping to train other medical professionals. He continues postgraduate study in aesthetic dentistry at King’s College London.

At London & Glow, Hemel provides personalized skincare consultations, microneedling and suitable chemical peels. He is completing the Canadian dental equivalency process and does not provide dental services at the clinic.
